Working with the Notion God

Platform: LinkedIn

Account type: Personal

PROBLEM:

In Sept 2023, I started working with a process specialist - a founder who helps agency owners reclaim their time by building high-functioning teams and systems.

His business was solid. But he was exploring LinkedIn as a new growth angle, and while he had strong ideas and a great narrative, he needed someone to help bring structure, consistency, and momentum to his personal brand.

OBJECTIVE:

He wanted to:

  • Align his presence with what he does best: simplifying operations for founders and agency owners
  • Build a system that could run with low input from him

MY APPROACH:

We didn’t rush into content.

I first dove deep into his offers, his brand story, and, most importantly, his ideal clients.

I wanted to know:

Why do agency owners burn out?

What do they really need to hear?

How is he different from every other “ops” guy online?

From there, I:

  • Audited and rebuilt his LinkedIn profile
  • Set up weekly sprints with goals and deadlines
  • Ghostwrote content with his voice
  • Managed a team of freelancers (design, repurposing)
  • Managed light repurposing on Instagram and X
  • Created monthly recap decks for review

The challenge was that he already had substantial numbers, but the followers weren’t relevant. So we had to curate the right audience. That meant sometimes losing followers. But it paid in the long run.

We started the implementation of the strategy on 1st September, and our first post received great love!

We got these stats for his LinkedIn Account in a Month:

Starting DateSeptember end
Followers92239378
Profile Views7421096
Post Impressions105017402
Search Appearances223531

By March, we had the following stats:

March

Profile Views1959
Post Impressions44085
Search Appearances859

I personally learnt a lot from this client, and it fueled the inner Monica in me.

This wasn’t a flashy “we went viral!” project. But it was intentional, honest, and sustainable.

And that’s what makes it one of my favorites!
