From CTO Brain to Founder Brand
Platform: LinkedIn
Account type: Personal
PROBLEM:
Back in May 2024, I started working with a SaaS founder - someone brilliant, with a vision to simplify AI through microapps, but not quite sure how to communicate it on LinkedIn.
He was the CTO-turned-CEO of a growing AI marketplace, but he wasn’t entirely clear on the marketing side of things.
OBJECTIVE:
- Position him as a credible, strategic voice in SaaS and AI
- Build a relevant community of early adopters, buyers, and devs
- Lay the groundwork for his Saas product-led GTM
MY APPROACH:
We started slow. Because, frankly, clarity was missing. The product still had loose ends, and his own vision of what he wanted to be known for was fuzzy.
So before touching content, I:
- Rebuilt his LinkedIn profile to highlight both credibility and vision
- Did a thorough market research, not only for LinkedIn, but for the entire GTM
- Created initial themes across product, leadership, AI trends, and personal learnings
And he loved what I did with his profile:

We got these stats for his LinkedIn Account in 6 Months:
| Starting Date | October | |
|---|---|---|
| Followers | 2839 | 3348 |
| Profile Views | 209 | 491 |
| Post Impressions | 1050 | 5886 |
| Search Appearances | 62 | 257 |
In September, we also ran lead-gen for a podcast we launched under his name - finding tech founders and builders to interview, crafting episode angles, and scripting questionnaires to help Daniel build relationships and reach new audiences.
And we had some initial success here:

Unfortunately, by October, it was clear the internal product direction still needed clarity.
Content couldn’t lead when the core message kept shifting. So we mutually agreed to pause the project until things were more solid internally.
Nevertheless, it was a great learning experience, and yeah - I definitely picked up some deep SaaS insight along the way.
